LFO 2011 has started!

An exceptional classical concert was the first event of II Life Festival Oświęcim 2011. On Saturday, June 11th the audience gathered in Oświęcim’s Cultural Center could hear masterpieces by Strauss, Ravel and Tchaikovsky.

In the first part of the concert the the audience was spellbound by Beate Ritter (soprano) and Alexander Zbigniew Pinderak (tenor) – the soloists of Vienna Opera performing Strauss.

The second part belonged to Dalibor Karvay – a genius violinist of Gypsy origins who played pieces by Ravel and Tchaikovsky.

The artists was accompanied by the Orchestra of the Karol Szymanowski's Philharmonic in Cracow.
